In 1992 I took a photo called 'Tenderness' (click to view) which depicted a Punk rocker with a baby. This photo marked the height of my awards submissions and was included in a set of ten slides submitted by the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) to represent the best of British Photography in the European Grand Prix of Photography 1992. An exhibition exclusively for the 10 best works of each of the 12 countries then in the EEC. It was awarded third place overall and was judged to be the Best European Portrait gaining a FIAPBronze medal.
The Commissioners of the Italian National Museum of Photography also noticed this same photo and requested to have a copy on permanent display in their Museum at Brescia, where it can still be viewed.
I have now attained the high honor of 'Excellence of the Federation Internationale del'art Photographique'.
